Our Story

Hethwood Market was first opened in September 2009 by the Sink Family. The Market was created as a home for the rapidly expanding fresh produce, local dining and concession business.

From it’s outset, the Market was intended to be a champion for local businesses. Scott Sink sought to promote Virginia grown produce and handcrafted goods. The Market partners with local vendors and other small business owners to extend the influence of NRV-based products.

From it’s convenient location in Hethwood off of Prices Fork, the Market has continued to grow while still keeping true to it’s original mission of Family and Community.
